A Study Shows One Out Of Five Canadians Suffering From Mental Disorder Problems

February 10, 2020 by Jennifer Preston Leave a Comment

Whether it’s the United States of America or any other country in North America, the mental illness problem is getting quite dangerous every day. In the recent report, it’s been found that neighboring country i.e., Canadians are going through some serious issues of mental stress. A survey found out that one out of five Canadians suffers from mental anxiety, which is not only damaging their productivity but also their health. Recently a Canadian court passed a judgment which stated that dismissing a person from their job might lead them to feel inferior and hence go through depression.

People who lost their job from a company or even business might not feel the same, and they are most likely to go through depression or anxiety problems. Experts said they found that employers think obligatory to treat their employees who go through stressful situations. Many big companies have specific divisions related to these things because solving problems relating to these becomes a significant responsibility for them.

Experts said they are witnessing people with depression, anxiety has increased from the last few years, and there needs to be special care taken about it. People who are working in the corporate world are given benefits by some companies of taking leave if they are not feeling good mentally because it would affect their productivity. Insurance companies usually don’t pay claims for illnesses such as depression, anxiety, etc. and that ultimately increases further problems for these people. Deepest think the only way one can get out of such troublesome period is taking time off from these things. Insurance companies not paying those who are depressed clients is still one of the essential topics of discussion in Canada. However, what’s more relevant here is the fact that people with depression, anxiety, and other mental illnesses are increasing every day.
