All You Need to Know About the New iPhone 13 Models

October 2, 2021 by Jennifer Preston Leave a Comment

The iPhone 13 has arrived, and it comes completely loaded with a shrunken notch, improved screens, a faster A15 Bionic processor, and substantial camera improvements. The battery performance is also improved. The cinematic video mode, which keeps focusing on the subject while it moves, is the coolest improvement thus far. This year, Apple incorporated bigger batteries in all 4 iPhone 13 models. Though Apple hasn’t revealed actual capacities, it has provided some approximate estimates on how long the iPhone 13 models will last. The iPhone 13 Pro, as well as the iPhone 13 Pro Max, will have their battery life increased by 1.5 and 2.5 hours, respectively.

The iPhone 13 Pro, on the other hand, features 120Hz ProMotion screens and an improved camera setup with 3x optical zoom and a 6-element ultra-wide lens. Macro photography features, larger batteries, and a fresh sierra blue shade are also added. The iPhone 13 mini is priced at $799, while the iPhone 13 with 128GB of storage starts at $899. The notch on the new iPhone 13 is 20% narrower than the one on the iPhone 12.

The A15 Bionic system-on-chip, Apple’s most sophisticated processor yet, comes new in the iPhone 13. It has a 6 core CPU and is designed on a 5nm technology. Two of these are new high-performance cores, while the other four are more battery efficient. The iPhone 13 also includes sophisticated machine learning apps, such as iOS 15’s new Live Text capability and Siri’s on-device speech recognition, due to improvements to Apple’s Neural Engine.

The iPhone 13 Pro has a starting price of $999, while the iPhone 13 Pro Max will start at $1,099. There’s also a 1TB storage version of the pro model. On the iPhone 13 Proline, there’s a new ProMotion screen that has a range of 10Hz to 120Hz and is designed to adapt fluidly. Graphite, gold, silver, and new sierra blue are all available colors for the iPhone 13 Pro. All four iPhone 13 versions will be available on September 24. For the iPhone 13, Apple has also pledged to use more ecologically friendly materials. This includes fewer plastics in their boxes and antennae made entirely of recycled plastic.
