T-Mobile has some exciting offers for its customers. The network operator is offering one year of Apple TV Plus subscriptions to almost all users. The subscription would be free of cost and is being offered as an additional perk to both existing as well as new subscribers. According to the company, all customers having Magenta and Magenta Max plans can redeem the deal from August 25. The offer would be available through July 31, 2022. Those who have already tried the streaming service of Apple in the past too can redeem the offer. If a customer is already subscribed to Apple TV Plus, he or she can still redeem the offer given by T-Mobile. On redeeming the offer, the subscription for the next will be paused with T-Mobile’s offer taking over in its place.
T-Mobile is already offering a free Netflix subscription with most Magenta and Magenta Max plans. This offer is available at no additional cost. The development comes as the wireless carrier closed its own pay-TV streaming services. T-mobile had closed the service merely six months after starting it. Under such a deal, the distributor usually pays a wholesale per-subscriber fee to the streaming platform. Generally, this kind of deal benefits both the distributor as well as service provider, in this case, Apple. The deal will help Apple to get new subscribers for its Apple TV Plus. Usually, new viewers get hooked to the service and then start paying for it after the one-year free subscription ends.
Apple ended free trials of its streaming service in July for many device customers. There were some customers who have not been paying for the services ever since it was launched in November 2019. While announcing the 12-month free subscriptions, T-Mobile said its users will be able to see all their favorite shows across all devices. At present, the cost of a monthly subscription for Apple TV Plus is USD 4.99 per month. The plan of Apple TV Plus will auto-renew at the end of the free trial period unless it is canceled. The streaming service of Apple is currently available in over 100 countries.
