BANGKOK (Reuters) – Thailand’s manufacturing production index (MPI) in August fell 4.15% from a year earlier, as a coronavirus outbreak affected production and jobs, the industry ministry said on Wednesday, missing analyst forecasts.
The reading compared with a forecast for no change in output in a Reuters poll and July’s revised 3.92% increase.
