The cheapest PlayStation Plus deals for memberships in September 2021

September 2, 2021 by David Barret Leave a Comment

PS Plus deals can save you plenty of cash on your PlayStation Plus membership. However, you do sometimes have to know where to look. That's why we're bringing you all the cheapest PS Plus prices from around the web – so you never get stung by an auto-renew again.

A PS Plus membership will set you back $59.99 / £49.99 for a full 12-month subscription when bought at full price. However, there are plenty of PS Plus deals offering discounted rates across the web. We've seen prices hit as low as $25 in the US, though UK PS Plus deals only tend to fall to £39.99.

Of course, a PS Plus membership is a necessity if you're play PS4 and PS5 games online. However, with free monthly games, access to a wide range of PS4 games on PS5 and exclusive discounts in the PS Store there's plenty of value in here.

You'll find all the latest PlayStation Plus deals just below, with the best prices from around the web all compared here. We're also rounding up the latest Xbox Live Gold deals if you prefer Microsoft as well. We might be looking at some particularly strong offers soon, thanks to the upcoming Labor Day sales as well.

The cheapest PlayStation Plus deals

CDKeys Update: We generally find that CDKeys is one of the cheapest prices to buy a 12-month PlayStation Plus membership, but technical gremlins sometimes mean the deals don't show up in our comparison chart below. Feel free to check the following CDKeys links though, just to make sure you're getting the best PS Plus deal. Prices are usually hovering around £38-£42 in the UK and $50-$58 in the US.

Always check that the PS Plus membership you are purchasing will work in your region.

The rumors are true. There's also a three-month subscription available, but the value isn't as strong and you're technically paying more per month compared to the 12-month PlayStation Plus memberships deals. All the same, take a look if you only need that amount of time.

Is a PlayStation Plus membership worth it?

If you play games online then a PlayStation Plus membership is absolutely worth buying. Some would say it's an essential part of your PlayStation experience. PS Plus does have benefits even if you don't play online.

A constantly updating roster of new titles to download and play for free will save you far more than the membership costs each month. You're never left wanting if you're open to new experiences and looking for something new to play.

On top of that, cloud storage and backups can really come in handy, especially if you want peace of mind that all your saved data is kept safe should anything happen to your console.

What are the free PS Plus games this month?

We've got you covered there. Each month we update the list of extensive freebies for the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection. These games are free to download and play the entire time you are still within your PlayStation Plus membership. Why not bookmark the page below to make sure you never miss out?
