June 10, 2021 by Jennifer Preston Leave a Comment

Instagram has introduced a new feature for business and creator accounts. It will now show the performance of their posts in real-time. Creators can access statistics for Live videos and Reels. Live video is available on the platform for a long. But it is a new addition to Reels. Reels lets Instagram users create short funny videos and share them on the photo-sharing platform. Instagram underlined that the feature will be helpful for business accounts and creators as it will provide them new insight data related to their posts. It will show them how many accounts a post has reached. It will also show information like likes, comments, saves, and shares.

Instagram said that the feature only available for iOS users for now. It will be extended to Android and desktop later. The insight page will have information like how many comments a video has and the number of shares. Instagram has also updated the Account Insights page. Users can access the page in the menu option. The menu option is available in the upper-right corner. The feature ranks content based on its reach and interaction of type from accounts. It will give an idea of users’ interest to creators. They can know what is most effective for users and their target audiences. Instagram said that it will add new preset time frame options to the page.

Instagram said that users will be provided an option to filter data. It added that users will soon get the insights data to feature on their desktop. The company also promised to bring more updates to help businesses and creators to grow and increase their followers. The new feature is a part of Instagram’s continuous efforts to provide tools to professionals to better understand and evaluate the performance of posts. Meanwhile, Instagram is working to add an update to allow users to create posts via its desktop. Instagram allows users to share via its mobile website. But no option is available to create posts via its desktop website.
